FAQ ✨
We’ve gathered common questions about Even the Stones—its heart, creative process, and the message behind the music. We hope these answers help you understand who we are and why we exist.
Q: Who is Even the Stones?
A: Even the Stones is a worship music project led by Drew Leamon, who lives in Devon, Pennsylvania. ❤️ The project exists to use every resource available to love God wholeheartedly and lead others into deeper relationship with Him. Every song is crafted to minister to hearts and inspire genuine worship of the one true God.
Q: Where does the name “Even the Stones” come from?
A: Our name comes from Luke 19:40, where Jesus says, “If they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.” 🪨 It reminds us that all creation is designed to praise Him. Our mission is to join that eternal song 🎶 and help others find their voice in it.
Q: What inspires your songs?
A: Every song begins with an invitation to the Holy Spirit 🕊️. We pray and listen for what God wants to sing over His people—comfort, conviction, or joy. Scripture is our foundation 📖, and we aim to stay rooted in God’s Word in everything we create.
Q: Do you use AI to make your music?
A: Yes, but never apart from human, Spirit-led creativity. ✋ The song concepts and lyrics are always driven by people—by prayer, Scripture, and discernment of what the Holy Spirit is saying. We may take suggestions from AI or ask for feedback to refine ideas, but the heart and direction come from us.
In production, we provide specific human style guidance around dynamics, instrumentation, and the overall feel we’re aiming for. It’s not uncommon for us to work through hundreds of track versions before landing on something that fits our vision. From there, we sometimes edit individual stems to shape the song further.
Hopefully you get the sense that our hands are very much involved—this isn’t pressing an AI “easy button.” Our desire is that Spirit-led human creativity and passion shine through every sound we share. 🎵
Q: How do you handle the ethics of using AI in worship music?
A: Our heart is to bless, not to profit 🙏. Every resource—including AI—is used only to magnify Jesus and serve His Church. All proceeds cover production costs, fund future projects, and/or are given to kingdom ministries 🌍. This project will never exist for personal gain—it exists to glorify God and bless His people while keeping human creativity central to every song.
Q: What’s the meaning behind your artwork and imagery?
A: Our visuals often show stones forming symbolic shapes—like a glowing blue bird 🪽 (a creative representation of the Holy Spirit) and a fire halo 🔥 echoing Acts 2. They remind us that we, like living stones, are being built together as a dwelling for God’s presence.
Q: How does Even the Stones connect to LastFirst Worship Collective?
A: Even the Stones is part of LastFirst Worship Collective, a ministry & creative community writing Spirit-led, Scripture-rooted songs for the Church ⛪—a place where artists and worshippers collaborate to glorify Jesus.
